The Name - McEng Memories

For the longest time, I joked with Kevin that if we put our last names together (McMillan and Eng), we would be “McEng”, which kinda sounds like “making“. Kevin’s name has always been “Kevin-ing” in my phone because I thought it was awesome that his last name turned any word into a verb! 🤓 (geeky, I know.)

Probably around our second trip together, I made a joke that we were “McEng Memories”. The name stuck and I used it as our hashtag to keep track of our adventures. It was also our wedding hashtag!

We’ve been married since April, but due to covid closures and needing to use my passport, I have not yet legally changed my name. I feel so honored to legally one day share Kevin’s last name. Our last name will be “Eng”, not “McEng”, but we will forever continue #McEngMemories. 💜
